Dr. Mia Cadieux is an Associate Veterinarian at Bayridge Animal Hospital. Growing up in Bolton, Ontario, she has had a love and appreciation for animals her whole life. Coming from a very active family and continuing to be an active and health-conscious person herself, Mia loves to help keep your animals moving and happy.

Dr. Cadieux did her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Biomedical Science before taking the long journey across Stone Road to complete her veterinary medicine degree at the Ontario Veterinary College. During this time, she developed her professional interests in surgery and internal medicine. Mia is excited to continue her professional development and pursue these interests while serving the Kingston community and working with the amazing team at Bayridge Animal Hospital.

Keeping with her theme of being active, Mia played 4 years of varsity soccer during her time in Guelph. While Mia still loves the sport, she now prefers to spend her free time biking, skiing, running, climbing, and hiking. When she isn't moving, Mia spends her downtime exploring coffee shops and restaurants (any recommendations are welcomed!), watching TV and cuddling up with her new puppy, June! Mia and her partner Jake adopted June from a local rescue organization and have been loving every second of having a dog of their own!
