Veterinarian
Dr. Lisa Vander Wilp
Dr. Lisa Vander Wilp has had the great privilege of serving clients and patients in the Kingston area for over 20 years; this wonderful profession and the local veterinary community has made it possible for her to raise her family while continuing to thrive in clinical practice... Dr Lisa grew up on her family's farm in Carlisle Ontario and, after completing her Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2002, she started in mixed animal practice in Picton, Ontario.
Dr. Lisa lives in the country west of Kingston with her husband, William, their three children and two cats. As a family they have loved hiking the trails and camping in the area, Frontenac Provincial Park being a favourite destination. The Junior Gaels soccer program has left an incredible impact on each of the children, with many evenings spent on the soccer pitches around the city. When not hiking or playing soccer, they can be found out on Collin's Bay, kayaking with the Limestone Boat and Board Club. Along with many school and church activities, the Vander Wilp family feels blessed to call Kingston home.
Dr. Lisa is "grateful to have been welcomed onto the compassionate, collaborative, dedicated team at Bayridge Animal Hospital". As a lifelong learner with a heart for community and relationships, she hopes her skills, experience and passions will complement the team and benefit the people and pets she has the pleasure of meeting.
