Dr. Wilson has had the good fortune and honour of serving Kingston area pets and their owners for 28 years. He feels lucky to be surrounded by a truly caring, compassionate, intelligent and dedicated group at Bayridge Animal Hospital.

John is proud to be part of a team that is on the leading edge of veterinary technology with the introduction of novel surgical and medical treatment techniques. For common orthopedic, oncological, ophthalmological, dental and dermatological cases. He is trained in regenerative medicine including non-invasive therapeutic cold laser therapy, platelet rich plasma joint injections and stem cell therapy. He is skilled in the use of high definition ultrasonography for gastrointestinal, soft tissue and cardiology cases. Dr. Wilson has adopted "Fear Free" and "Cat Friendly" practices and sees a marked improvement in patient comfort when at the clinic.

He shares his time away from the clinic with his new canine co-pilot "Thor" a silly playful Yellow Labrador Retriever. John regularly travels to wild remote fly-fishing destinations to immerse himself into the rhythm of the natural surroundings and to encounter and photograph other animal species.
